About the Blue Bunny Helmet of Hope Program
The Blue Bunny Helmet of Hope program gave fans and consumers across the country the opportunity to nominate their favorite charity that supports K-12 public education for the chance to be featured on seven-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson’s helmet for a race during the current NASCAR Cup season. The title sponsor for the Helmet of Hope program was Blue Bunny Ice Cream. In addition to being featured on the helmet, each charity selected also received a grant and a Blue Bunny ice cream party. The program has contributed more than $1,400,000 to 130 different charities.
About the Team Up For Technology Program
From 2011-2019, individuals were invited to nominate a K-12 public or charter school for the opportunity to receive a $48,000 grant to update their technology. Schools selected to apply were asked to created a brief video showing us why they needed a tech makeover. In all, more than $550,000 in cash and product was awarded to 10 schools.
