MOJO Crew surprises Johnson with birthday donation

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In honor of Jimmie Johnson’s upcoming birthday on September 17, a dozen members of the MOJO Crew flew into Charlotte to present Jimmie with a check for $5448.48 for the Jimmie Johnson Foundation.

The presentation was made Thursday to Jimmie and his wife, Chandra, at Hendrick Motorsports.

The Crew has been collecting donations over the past several months and greatly surpassed their original goal of $1,000.

The presentation was a surprise to Jimmie, who was overwhelmed by the generosity of his fans.
