The 10 semi-finalist organizations will be announced the week of June 22nd.
We’ve partnered with Blue Bunny again this year to help charities across the country! Individuals (18 years of age and older) could nominate a non-profit organization that directly supports K-12 public education for the opportunity to receive a $25,000 grant, a Blue Bunny Ice Cream party, and to have their logo featured on Jimmie’s helmet during a 2020 NASCAR Cup Series race. In addition, charities that currently provide services to school-age children, and have been directly impacted by Covid-19, were also eligible. A total of 5 organizations will be selected as Blue Bunny Helmet of Hope grant recipients. Nominations were accepted until 3:00pm ET on Friday, June 5, 2020.
Nominated organizations must currently offer programs in direct support of K-12 public education -OR- serve as a PTA/PTO of a K-12 public school in order to be eligible – OR – provide services to school-age kids and have been directly impacted by Covid-19. Organizations must have a 501 c 3 designation from the IRS.
Please Note: Organizations that do not meet the criteria above are not eligible. Schools are not eligible for this program. We encourage K-12 public and charter schools to consider the Champions Grant program and/or Team Up For Technology program(restrictions apply).
